Wet Willie’s closing their doors while looking for new management
Wet Willie’s, a local bar in Beaufort Town Center that is popular for their famous frozen daiquiris with (appropriate) names including Shock Treatment, Attitude Improvement and the infamous Call a Cab, closed its doors last week while they look for new management.
Wet Willie’s has 18 locations listed on its website including two Savannah locations along with spots on Tybee Island, Myrtle Beach, Columbia, and Charlotte. Other franchises are as far away as Lake Tahoe, Nevada, St. Louis, Missouri and two more spots in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
Dick Stewart, CEO of 303 Associates said the franchise is still leasing the store and plans to reopen in the coming months under new management.
We are so sorry to see this local family business closing and wish them the very best for 2019.
