JSLB Touch A Truck

Tractors, trucks, and a helicopter… oh, my!  Touch a Truck is a family event unlike any other in the Beaufort area.  Whether you’re a parent, a child, or a child at heart, there will be plenty to do at the 3rd annual fall fundraiser for the Junior Service League of Beaufort (JSLB).

This family friendly event offers unique opportunities to see, touch, and safely explore a wide variety of vehicles that serve our community.  Participants will be able to sit in the driver’s seat and imagine what it is like to operate the vehicles as well as learn more about them from the various sponsors and donors.

Truck-touching have you tuckered-out? Just head on over to the entertainment area for face painting, live music, and other surprises to keep imaginations running! When you’ve worked up an appetite, there will be plenty of fabulous food, drinks, and libations available for purchase. Tons of fun for the whole family!

Not only is the event a ton of fun, but it’s also all for a good cause.  “We are so excited to bring back our Touch a Truck fundraiser for the 3rd consecutive year! Supporting and enriching the lives of women, children, and families is our focus in all endeavors, and we think that this event perfectly matches that mission—fun for all ages in a family-friendly environment. And even better—proceeds will all be directed right back into our community through our non-profit grants distributed in May.” said JSLB Touch A Truck Chairwoman Kristen O’Neal.

This year’s event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, November 3 in Downtown Port Royal from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Paris Avenue. Cost of admission is $5 per person.

Please note:

  • In the case of rain, the event will be postponed to November 17, 2018.
  • Pets will not be allowed at the event.
