In its annual ‘Most Adorable Small Town in Every State’ list, the website raved about Beaufort, letting readers know, “the area is renowned for its classic Southern charm, with stunning antebellum architecture and moss-covered oak trees.”
The website also said that the Beaufort history Museum is ‘excellent’ and made mention of tours of historic downtown.
We’re getting very spoiled here because the list is just going on and on…and on.
Recently, we’ve been named the healthiest, friendliest, cutest and best town in South Carolina. We’ve been told we have the most famous historic house in the state, and we’re the town to visit when visiting the Palmetto State. We’re the 4th most popular place to retire in the entire country. We’ve been told we’re the best town in the South, and, if you look around you’ll see….we’re also the happiest seaside town in all of America.
